Seminyak Family Holidays: Absolutely Wonderful Moments to Cherish Forever
Seminyak Bali, being one of the islands in Indonesia, is a great favourite among families who are on a holiday to be understood. Family vacations do not have to be devoid of fun or adventure; they are meant to be challenging and memorable for all. Seminyak is also known for its stunning beaches, exquisite cuisine, picturesque backdrops, and hospitable people. No matter whether the family has little children or mature ones, this booming beach town has something for everyone. Simple moments of enjoying sipping something while watching the sunset over the beach can serve a family well. As for couples or people on a honeymoon, Seminyak can be the perfect easy-going vacation. The town itself is rich in the perfect fusion of relaxation and entertainment. Nadine and I were on vacation in Seminyak. It was love at first sight: we had never been to Bali before, and so every place was beautiful to us. That being said, there were dozens of great spots within walking distance of our resort. It’s more of a family grown resort and has beachfront access. It’s situated on the south-western side of Bali. There is a diverse mix of beaches, with some longer or busier than others.
Accommodations in Seminyak which are good for Families
We stayed in Seminyak, one of Bali's most adorable towns, best known for its family-friendly accommodations – hotels, villas, and poolside resorts. Besides their hospitality and wide open spaces, it is a popular choice for those traveling with children. Many facilities are designed with children’s safety in mind. Highchairs, quiet rooms, large balconies, spacious and fully equipped kitchens, as well as living rooms, and most importantly, fully equipped bathrooms: tub, shower, sink... all these amenities were there! For families looking at spending time with children, make sure to book a trip to Bali. We loved the amazing views the location has to offer. Breathtaking views of Kuta and Seminyak beaches – absolutely unforgettable memories! When booking a villa, always keep in mind the additional costs like early check-in or late check-out which may seem reasonable at first, but can add up quickly and leave you with huge final bills. Other than that, we found staying in range of around 10 million was very reasonable especially for two weeks in Seminyak.
Fun Activities for the Family
Be active at the beach as there’s so much you can enjoy and do, it’s never-ending! Stretch your morning temples with some yoga and mediations on Seminyak Beach. Engage in water-based activities such as paddling, surfing, or simply enjoying beach for its warmth or general surroundings or even taking selfies. Seminyak beach is famous for being tranquil and have shorter waist-deep water action, perfect for kids. Families need to make sure to strap their waist boards when necessary as they could easily drown in strong currents. Kids are so intrigued to see so many gorgeous places in Bali, they forget about food entirely! Eating combines a fun adventure with a few healthy ones: the aim is to locate children-friendly places. Great food, the sun, a warm weather – it’s what Seminyak offers! A combination so perfect, it’s impossible to resist! It was four o'clock, and we were soaking up the sun. Time went so quickly! It seems that if a wait is too long for a family was at most coves. Dusk in Seminyak can charm with its vibrance – pastel colored skies merging with the sun to create a warm golden color while the waves crash against the rock and sands.
In the mornings, take some time to sightsee Goddess Durga’s temple or Bali Safari and Marine Park. Local cooking classes are also fun for the entire family and so are shopping for some souvenirs at Seminyak Village Mall.
Dining Options for Every Taste
Dinners in Seminyak also present several family friendly places. There is a variety of options ranging from international cuisines to the local ones called warungs. There are also a good number of restaurants and games facilities for children, menus for children and highchairs for parents. You should try the popular Balinese dishes such as nasi goreng or satay while children should enjoy pizza, pasta or fresh tropical fruit juice instead.
