The Japanese Shipwreck in Banyuning is an easy stop on the way and fantastic for the fun of snorkelling straight from the shore. Tulamben, as the place of the famous USAT Liberty wreck, is a spot definitely not to be missed by diving enthusiasts; here, vibrant marine life and coral gardens are the main attraction.

It is a better idea to use a scooter or hire a driver for the whole day to have a more pleasant Amed-to-Tulamben drive. The road is in good condition in most parts, but there are some sharp turns, so drive carefully. Don't forget to bring swimmers, reef-safe sunscreen, and a camera that you'll be using frequently.
